I literally cannot believe how fast February has gone by. It's insane how fast this year is flying by. So as per tradition I'm going to do my February favourites (Go check out my January Favourites here).
So without further ado, lets jump right in...
1. Make- Up: Essie Find me an Oasis nail polish.
I reviewed this polish a couple of weeks ago (read my post here) but I honestly do love it. The colour, the finish and the wear are just perfect. It sounds ridiculously but I ultimately feel more grown up and important when my nails look perfect and this polish is so elegant and sophisticated. I absolutely adore it!
2. Music: Tori Kelly
I have been loving Tori Kelly this month. I have had her album on repeat to get ready for her concert and her concert made me fall in love with her even more. She is quickly becoming one of my favourite artists.
3. Beauty: Aussie Leave in Conditioner
This is my new favourite hair care product. It is so easy to use. Just spray on wet or dry hair, brush through and style. It detangles hair and helps to repair any damage you do. It leaves my hair noticeably softer and shinier. It also smells amazing. I find myself smelling my hair all day (which I know is totally weird) but it is just so good (read my review here).
4. Miscellaneous: Sing It On
This is the Netflix gem I found this month. Sing it On is a documentary series that follows some of the best collegiate acapella groups as the compete to get to the ICCA finals. Think Glee and Pitch Perfect have a slight;y more bitchy child and BAM! You have Sing It On. Honestly I became so obsessed with it this month.
5. Shop: Primark
I have been really loving Primark this month. I love that they have already brought in some summer clothing as I am already looking forward to it. I feel like they have been very on trend as well for this season.

TORI KELLY! (Day 59)
I WENT TO SEE TORI KELLY LAST NIGHT!
Last night me and a friend went to the Tori Kelly gig at the Birmingham institute and she was amazing. I absolutely love Tori Kelly, she's one of my favourite artists at the minute and I was so happy to go and see her live. She really didn't disappoint, she was flawless on stage and was everything I expected and more.
Literally she was flawless. Like she actually made me cry, that is how good she is. I honestly had one of the best nights and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been too!

Outfit of the Day! (Day 58)
I'm so excited, I'm going to see Tori Kelly tonight. I've been waiting for this for sooooo long!
I thought I'd show you what I'm going to wear...
I thought I'd show you what I'm going to wear...
I've gone for a sparkly rain cloud jumper from H& M and some black hot pants from Forever 21. I thought this would be perfect because me and my friend have got to get the train and explore Birmingham before the concert so I didn't want to be too over- dressed. I'm teaming it with a black leather jacket, black heeled boots, curly hair and a black clutch and I think I'm on to a winner!

Essie 'Under the Twilight' Nail Polish Review (Day 57)
That's right, I've painted my nails again!
I'm really making the most of being able to paint my nails whilst not at work. I decided to use the Essie 'under the twilight' (317) as I wanted a darker colour. Essie released this polish as part of their 2014 resort collection. Although this colour was released and intended for use in the summer, I feel like it is much more appropriate for the winter.
In terms of colour it is a very intense dark plum colour. It's a timeless shade that goes with absolutely any outfit. The pigmentation of this polish is absolutely amazing. As with all Essie nail polishes, the colour is vivid and does not fade when it is worn. The finish is also absolutely lovely. It doesn't even need a top coat to look flawless. The polish is high shine and almost makes it look as though you have professional fake nails on, just for a fraction of the price. It applies so well. You could easily do this in one coat (but I used two) as it applies so well. The colour distributes evenly and leaves a flawless finish. The polish also lasts for around a week without showing any signs of wear! You could probably get a few weeks out of one painting session, which is great (if your like me) and have no patience when it comes to nail painting.

Collection Concealer Review (Day 55)
This is my favourite product of all time, like ever!
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is one of the most popular products among bloggers. It seems like everyone raves about this and that is because it is great. I have honestly never used a concealer that is as good as this. The collection concealer is honestly perfect. I re- purchase it time and time again.
I love this concealer because firstly, it is the perfect shade. It is actually light enough for my skin tone and that is hugely important for me! Secondly, it stays on for so long, not all day but a long time. It must stay put for at least four hours until it eventually needs re- applying. However, the best thing is the price. You can get this concealer from Boots for £4.20 and it is such good quality. There are high end products that costs 3 times the amount but don't work nearly as well. Price does not necessarily equal quality and that is definitely true for this product.
It is honestly amazing!

Let's Catch- up (Day 56)
February has been such a busy month.
I haven't really had chance to do a catch up post so I'd thought I would just catch you up on where I am at!
So I feel like February has been kind of a crappy month. I've been sick a lot this month, like a lot a lot! I had a really bad cold at the very beginning of the month, I then jumped straight into a pretty painful period (TMI I know but it happened) and then, just when I thought it was all over... BAM some sort of crippling stomach ache that lasted two days and then magically went away. It's so strange, I never really get ill but this month has been absolutely awful but I put on a brave face and carried on.
I feel like I really got on top of this blogging thing this month. I've been trying to get into the habit of doing blog posts in advance so they are ready to go. I've also been putting so much more effort into the quality of the posts. I've been getting into taking lovely photos to upload to my posts to make them look better. I've really been trying.
Life's been okay and I'm glad I'm getting on top of things.

Rosy Lips Vaseline Review (Day 54)
We all know I love lip balm.
Recently I've been branching out, I've moved on from blue Vaseline now. I'm a changed woman! I thought I'd try the rosy lips Vaseline. This is basically a tinted lip balm. It has the same caring qualities as Vaseline. It re- hydrates your dry lips and keeps them soft through the winter. The cold really plays havoc with my lips so I'm always glad that I have plenty of lip balm to hand.
The pigmentation of this Vaseline is great. It's not too pigmented, It's just enough colour. I love that I can get away without putting any lipstick on. It really is great for those minimal make- up days.

Getting Ready For Summer (Day 53)
I know it's only February but I am TOTALLY ready for summer.
It makes me so excited that the stores are starting to stock spring/ summer clothes. I made a pledge that I wouldn't buy anything for summer yet but I made an exception (let's face it, I'm weak when it comes to clothes). I ran into town the other day on my lunch break at uni and I saw these sandals. They're flip- flops with the strap around the back and little tassels on the front. There a tan mock- suede and I honestly love them! There so, so simple and cute and I know they'll look good with a lot of the clothes I am bound to wear this summer.
The best thing is, they were only £5! That's good value even for Primark. They also had other colours of these so there are plenty to choose from. I couldn't leave them there. I am so excited for summer now. I think I will get so much use out of these.

Tsum Tsum App Review (Day 52)
Recently I have been loving Tsum Tsums!
I got pretty addicted to the tsum tsum app last year but stopped playing after a while, however I've picked it up again and am well and truly addicted.
For those of you that don't know, tsum tsum is an app developed by Disney. It originated in Japan but is now played all over the world. Disney even has it's own line of soft toys to coincide with the app. The word tsum tsum literally means stack stack so the idea is that the little tsums tsums are all stacked up and you have to connect them in lines of three or more. You win coins in which you can buy new characters tsum tsums and they all have their own powers.
I absolutely love tsum tsums. It is really addictive and I love that you can play with the different Disney characters. I also really like that you now can play the bingo cards, where you have to complete certain tasks as it keeps the game fresh and new. The only thing I wish is that you could get coins faster. It takes a long time to build them up so you can buy the tsum tsums. I still adore this app though.

Essie Find Me An Oasis Review (Day 51)
I never get to paint my nails. With my part- time job, I'm not allowed to wear nail polish to work so I just don't bother.
However, my work is currently shut for refurbishment meaning I have six weeks of nail painting goodness. I bought this one a while ago but I haven't had a chance to use it. The Essie 'Find me an Oasis' (315) is like a very, very pale blue colour. I would go as far to say it's almost like a white with a tint of blue. It was released as part of the Essie Resort 2014 line so I'm a little late to the party but nail colours like this never really go out of style.
I really like this nail polish. I feel as though it would be a really lovely colour for spring/ summer. It's light and airy and would look lovely with a tan. Also the consistency is amazing. It doesn't run and is so easy to apply. It does not chip easily and stays on for at least a week and still looks beautiful.

Vaseline Aloe Vera Review (Day 50)
Now I always have dry lips. My friends know that I will always have a lip balm of some sort on me.
Now clearly even my Grandma has noticed my addiction to lip balm as for Christmas she bought me Vaseline. Lots and lots of Vaseline. Now I won't lie, I'm a standard blue tub kind of girl usually but things have changed. I've branched out, tried something new, that's right kids the green Vaseline.
I do like it though. It does the job and keeps my lips from getting dry. However, I haven't really noticed a difference between the two. They both do the same thing. The only thing is, they smell different. That's it really. However, bottom line is I would definitely use it again.

Storage Hacks! (Day 49)
Life hack alert!
Recently, I've been re- decorating my room and have been looking for handy storage solutions. I've found the best way to store things like brushes and pens are in plant pots. You can get really cute plant pots for barely any money in places like Ikea and Asda. I love the white pots that are from Ikea, they are around £2- £3 each and are the perfect size for by make- up brushes and hair brushes.
I also use plant pots to store pens and pencils. I got the fox planter from Asda a few months ago in the sale for £1. I absolutely love it. It looks so cute with all of my uni stuff. I've been enjoying using different things than just boring pen pots.
Decorating my room is something I absolutely love doing, I find it to be an amazing creative outlet.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave In Conditioner Review (Day 48)
I'm a sucker for all things Aussie, they tend to be my hair care brand of choice. I saw this the other day and thought I'd give it a go.
It's a leave in conditioner that can be used on wet or dry hair, to strengthen your hair and make it look healthier. I do really like it. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have honestly been loving it. It makes my hair look healthier and stronger. I have been using it on dry hair in the mornings when I am leaving my hair down just to give it a little bit of health and shine. Honestly, though, I think the best thing may be the smell. This smells like the Aussie Beach Mate shampoo, which is the shampoo I always use when on holiday. This product reminds me of being in the sun, which is definitely not what the weather in Britain is currently like.

Aussie Mega Shampoo and Conditioner Review (Day 47)
I love trying new hair care products.
I am yet to find a shampoo and conditioner that I'm willing to stay loyal too. I ran out of my old shampoo and realised it was time for a change. I didn't have time to do much research and just had to run to Asda and pick something up. The Aussie hair care was on an offer and I absolutely love Aussie so it seemed like the natural place to start.
I found this one which is the Mega shampoo and conditioner and I'm really happy about it. The bottle states that it is suitable for everyday use and it will not leave a build up in your hair. This is what drew me to this one. I like to wash my hair everyday, I know it's such a bad habit but it's one that's really hard to break. Therefore when I saw that there was a product that I could use everyday, I had to get it.
Overall, I'm happy with it. It does what it says and doesn't leave build up. I've been using it for about a week now and my hair does look a lot healthier and happier. However in terms of shine, it's not great but I think that is more to do with my hair type than the products. Overall, I'm definitely going to carry on using it.

Netflix Love! (Day 46)
So... I have a confession to make, I've Netflix binged again!
The other day when I was looking for something to watch, I discovered Sing It On! It's basically a documentary style series which follows college acapella teams in the USA as they try and win in competitions. It is amazing! It's basically the perfect mix between Pitch Perfect and Glee!
The best bit is, they are all really good at what they do. It's honestly amazing that they can make music like they do. With John Legend as one of the producers there was no way it wasn't going to be amazing really. I think there's around 8 episodes on Netflix and I watched them all in about 2 days. I honestly got obsessed with it!
So if your looking for something new to feed your Netflix obsession, give it a go, you'll probably love it!

The Best Powder Ever! (Day 45)
My favourite product of all time has got to be the Rimmel stay matte powder!
It's the holy grail of beauty! It truly is the perfect powder! It keeps makeup where it should be and takes the shine away! If like me you love a matte look, you'll love this powder it's honestly great! I use the shade transparent which I love because it's not too dark for me and perfectly complements my skin tone. I love it for my everyday makeup looks as it looks so natural and really helps me to achieve a flawless complexion.
I've been using this product for years and have never found anything that comes close to how amazing it is. The best part about it though has to be the price. It's around £3.99 and available at pretty much every drug store, so if you haven't tried it, you definitely need to!

Enchanted Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift Fragrance Review (Day 43)
I am honestly in love with Taylor Swift. She is absolutely amazing.
I've never really been into celebrity perfumes but my sister got given this for Christmas and didn't want it so I thought I'd give it a go. It's the Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonder struck Perfume and I really like it. Like many celebrity perfumes, it has quite a subtle scent which to be honest, I don't mind. It's really nice on those days where you don't really want to go over- board.
It's both floral and fruity and I feel like if I was in an enchanted, fairy tale forest, this is what I would be able to smell. It really beautiful. I like that it's sweet yet not sickly.
I guess it's just another reason to love Taylor Swift!

Jelly Belly Reed Diffuser Review ( Day 44)
I'm not really a candle lover, so I thought I would give something new a try.
I found this Jelly Belly Reed Diffuser in Asda on sale. It's the scent Strawberry Cheesecake and I really like it. I only got the small one but it's powerful enough to make my whole room smell. I just have to remember to flip the reeds over every so often.
I've had this for about a month now and there is still a lot left in the bottle. I think it's going to last me a very long time. Jelly Belly always do some really fun fragrances that you can't get from other brands and it works. I would definitely buy this again!

The Perfect Pink (Day 42)
Now I don't normally go for pink lipstick.
As I have a very pale complexion, I tend to go for dark or bright lipstick over nude shades. However I was shopping the other day and came across this. This is the Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Lipstick in the shade 940 Rose Rush. I really like it. It's a pale pink but unlike other lighter colours, it still stands out and best of all, it doesn't wash me out.
It also lasts all day. It stays for a least 3 hours before you need to re- apply. I've also found it does not dry my lips out like some lipsticks do so I am happy about that.
So I might be able to wear pink after all!
Talk to you tomorrow, Chloe xx
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review! (Day 41)
I should not be trusted in Boots!
Me and my friend decided to pop into boots the other day during our break between lectures (the curse of university being in the center of town) and lets just say I spent way too much money! I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to make- up, there is just way too much choice. Now I didn't necessarily need a mascara but I got this one anyway!
More than anything it was the packaging that made me want it. The metallic pink and blue is just gorgeous together. Also I have loved Maybelline mascara for years, they are normally amazing so I thought it couldn't hurt to give this one a try.
Considering I wasn't expecting an awful lot from this mascara, I really like it. It really curls your lashes and makes them look a lot longer. I got the waterproof version of this mascara (as I try to avoid panda eyes) and it works really well. Obviously if you went swimming with this on it probably wouldn't last but I have got in the shower before without taking this off and it has not run which is really good going for a mascara. If I had one complaint though it would be that it doesn't really thicken lashes, so if that's what your after this perhaps is not for you. However I have recently been applying this on top of the benefit 'They're Real' mascara and have found it works really well. The benefit mascara thickens the lashes and the maybelline does a great job of giving them the perfect curl.
So all in all I am really enjoying this mascara. It does what it says on its gorgeous packaging and is everything you need it to be.

St Ives Blemish Fighting Face Wash Review (Day 38)
MI have tried everything to get my acne under control.
There are so many products out there that claim to work miracles for your skin but often they don't. I have tried every product out there and I finally might have found something that works. My Mum's friend recommended this to Mum after her daughter used it and loved it so my Mum picked it up for me.
I did not expect too much but it actually works. It is just your typical face wash, lather in our hands, rub into skin, leave for a minute and then wash off. The difference is, it leaves a visible difference in your skin. Even after a day I noticed results and after a week my spots were definitely less visible. Now I'm not saying that your skin will be flawless, you will probably still have blemishes and that is something I have come to accept, they will never be completely gone. This product though, really does help. It also smells of apricot. The best bit is, it's only around £4, which to be honest is a bit of a bargain!

Daisy by Marc Jacobs Fragrance Review (Day 39)
I mean look how cute it is...
For Christmas this year my Grandma bought me the Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' travel edition and I honestly adore it. I've been wearing this so often since Christmas and because it's travel size, it is perfect to throw in my handbag so I can spritz on the go.
For Christmas this year my Grandma bought me the Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' travel edition and I honestly adore it. I've been wearing this so often since Christmas and because it's travel size, it is perfect to throw in my handbag so I can spritz on the go.
It is a floral fragrance which is really fun and kind of flirty. It works for everyday and for a special occasion so it really does transform from day to night. I love it.
And I mean, how cute is the packaging...

Nina by Nina Riche Fragrance Review (Day 36)
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite fragrances ever!
One of my best friends bought me this for my birthday and to be honest I really was not expecting too much. I am quite particular with the scents I like to wear and was anxious to try this out.
Honestly though, it smells amazing. It's not to intense and over- powering but it can still be smelt. It is very feminine and fresh and is quite floral and fruity. It is honestly just a lovely scent and I love wearing it in everyday life. It's kind of like you're trying but not trying to hard.
What I really love about this perfume though is the packaging. I mean it's an apple. It always reminds me of the evil Queens apple in Snow White so I really love the kind of Disney theme.

Maybelline 24 Hour Super Stay Foundation Review (Day 40)
Now normally I do not stray from my foundation! I am all about the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, however I had heard some good things about the Maybelline 24 Super Stay Foundation so thought I give it a go.
As much as it has its good points, there was one massive flaw which ruined it for me. Although I bought the lightest shade of this foundation it was way to dark for me. Now I am used to foundation often being too dark for me as I am super pale but this was different. It was dark but automatically sent my skin a horrible orange shade! I won't lie it didn't look great, even with a lot of blending I just could not get this to work!
However in terms of it's coverage, it was faultless. It covered all my blemishes and left my skin one tone (all be it orange) so if you have darker skin I feel like this would be great for you.
I have still found use with this product though! I've found that if I mix a little bit of this with a moisturiser or a lighter foundation I have found that it helps it to stay put all day.
I feel like this product has the potential to be great, I just wish they would make one for my skin tone!

Tsum Tsum Crazy! (Day 35)
I am a little bit obsessed with Tsum Tsums. A craze that originated in Japan, the little Disney Bean Bag characters are just perfect. They stack on top of one another and they are quite a subtle way to Disney. I've only picked up a few so far as I am waiting to go to Disneyland Paris in March so I can hopefully pick up some more.
It's safe to say I am in love with the little things!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream Review (Day 37)
It's official, I have tried a BB Cream.
I've always been very anti BB cream. I have always assumed that because it is a light coverage it just wasn't for me. As I have quite severe acne, I've always favoured heavy foundations that completely cover my spots. However this was on a 3 for 2 in boots and I thought I would see what all the fuss was about. Now I would not go as far to say I am converted to BB cream but it did surprise me. It offers more coverage than I thought it would. I would only wear this on a day when my skin is looking quite clear and I would still wear concealer over my problem areas but I would definitely consider it.
What I would say is that the shade is perfect. I have very pale skin so finding any type of makeup to match my skin tone is near on impossible. However I bought the lightest shade of this and it works perfectly. It is just the right tone, so good job Maybelline.
I feel like in the summer this will be perfect. It is light and would not melt off of your face. It also has a high SPF so it would offer my skin some much needed protection. I guess that is something I will have to try.
So BB cream is not all bad and I would definitely consider using it on good skin days and in the summer but for now the BB cream is benched.
Who knows maybe one day I will be converted!

January favourites (Day 34)
So I finally feel well enough to finish this post! It feels good to be kind of healthy again.
As January has come to an end I thought I'd do my January favourites! I've decided to try and do this at the end of every month. I'm going to do favourites in categories, so there will be; make up, beauty, shop, music and miscellaneous.
So without further ado...
1. Make- up: Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in starry eyed (128)
I have been absolutely loving darker shades of lipstick for the winter time. I find myself gravitating towards dark reds and dark purples but it's hard to find ones that last for longer than an hour. Now don't get me wrong, the rimmel lipstick does not last all day but it does last for a very long time! It stays put and does not smudge, which is everything I want from a lipstick. It's also a beautiful colour. This matte lipstick is somewhere between a dark red and a dark purple and it's honestly beautiful.

2. Music: Katie Sky- Monsters
I love, love, love this song. Ever since I watched Dizzy Brunettes engagement vlog (which honestly was the most beautiful video I have ever seen) I have been absolutely obsessed with monsters. The lyrics are so well written and the music is perfect. I have had this on repeat for the entire month.
3. Beauty: Pantene Pro V Perfect Hydration Shampoo
I am honestly IN LOVE with this shampoo!. My Mum actually brought this shampoo for herself (She is literally obsessed with buying new shampoos, I never buy my own) but soon got bored of it so I ended up with it. I just assumed it was another one of her useless cast- offs but I was so wrong. It is one of the best shampoos I have ever used. It leaves my hair so shiny and soft and really helps with the damage I do to my hair with heat and product.
4. Miscellaneous: The Ellen Show
FINALLY, Elly is on the telly! I have been watching the Ellen Show on 'Ellen Tube' for years and have only dreamed about being able to watch the entire episode but as of the 18th January I actually could! ITV2 bought the rights ad now I get my hour long, daily dose of the Ellen show. I absolutely adore Ellen. She stands for so much goodness in the world and her show always makes me smile. I me smile. I am so grateful that I can finally watch the full episodes.

5. Shop: Newlook
Newlook have some amazing clothes in at the minute. The clothes are perfect for the winter/ spring with pieces that will go through both seasons. It is also so affordable. I brought the top in the picture for £9.99, the jumper for £7.99 and the high waisted jeans for £22.99. I am absolutely loving this mustard colour as I really think it will transition through the seasons.
So there you have my January favourites, who knows what February will bring!

Hot mess (Day 33)
So...I'm still ill and it honestly sucks. I felt worse today and considering it was the day of my first exam, that definitely was not a good thing!
But I'll keep my chin up and come back fighting

Feeling poorly! (Day 32)
After promising yesterday that my blog would have better quality posts, I've failed at the first hurdle! I had big plans to have a beautiful post about my January favourites but I needed to do the photos and today I feel so ill! So I'm really sorry but I promise it will get better!
So I'll leave you with this cute little quote I found on Pinterest earlier today
